Field Trip: Exploring Art in the Presidio
Description
Our Family Coalition, in collaboration with the Crissy Field Center, invites you to join us and other LGBTQ+ families on an exploration of art in the Presidio.
Meet us at Inspiration Point at 9:30am and embark on a guided hike to the eastern reaches of the Presidio as we visit the largest collection of Andy Goldsworthy art in the world.
The hike will be 1.4 miles long over even ground, ending with lunch all together at the Julius Kahn Playground (food provided by OFC -- please register to indicate dietary restrictions). There will be different activities along the way for both parents and kiddos!
Terrain is suitable for toddlers and is stroller-accessible (although there may be some sandy portions). Please wear suitable hiking shoes and bring a hat & a filled water bottle. We hope to see you there!
Questions? Please contact Nikki at nikki@ourfamily.org or (415) 981-1960.
This is a FREE event. We strive to make our programs accessible to all families. Please register in advance for accommodations that would help your family participate to the fullest (e.g. dietary restrictions, accessibility needs, etc.). If registering within 48 hours of the event, please call (415) 981-1960 to ensure receipt of your request.
