Navigating the world as a queer or trans parent of color can be complex, and finding a safe space to connect and build community with each other can be a challenge. Join OFC for an 8-week support group for queer and trans parents of color in San Francisco where you can be your whole self and talk about what matters to you. Facilitated by Dr. Stacy N. Knight, psychologist and early childhood mental health consultant.
Group will meet on Tuesdays from 6:00-8:00pm on the following evenings at Our Family Coalition (1385 Mission St, Suite 340, San Francisco):
August 7, 14, 21
September 4, 11
October 2 & 9
First-time participants will need to complete a brief intake upon arrival. Support group registration is open to new participants until the second session on August 7, 2018. Please commit to attending all 8 sessions.
Dinner and child care are provided FREE with advance registration at least 24 hours in advance. Please register all family members who plan to attend, including any dietary restrictions as well as ages of children, so staff can make arrangements.
