VIRTUAL: Children's Book Writing Workshop | 1 - 2 PM

08/02/2020 01:00 PM - 02:00 PM PT

This event series is meeting virtually during shelter-in-place, as part of our Coronavirus response.
Please register in advance to receive phone and video conference access information.

If you are in the process of writing a children's book, if you are thinking about writing a children's book, or if you would like to see your family better represented in children's lit, and perhaps have some ideas you might like to create, then this workshop is for you!

We are joined by Archaa Shrivastav from Little Feminist.

Archaa is an educator and children's book expert with a focus on intersectional representation. She is the Content Director for Little Feminist Book Club and the co-author of the We are Little Feminist series. She identifies as a cis queer South Asian woman.

Archa will be guiding us through what it takes to write and publish children's books. Bring all of your ideas and questions for Archaa as we work together to create the stories we want to see in children's lit.
