Communication Skills and Practices When Feeling Overwhelmed and Without Sufficient Support with Nancy Kahn

If you find yourself with reduced childcare support during this pandemic, are parenting alone, and/or are looking for practices and tools to attend to your overwhelm and your own needs while communicating with care with your children, join us for this informative workshop. Your needs matter!

The facilitator Nancy Kahn, will share practices that are grounded in Self Compassion and Nonviolent Communication (NVC). You will be guided to more efficiently identify your own needs and express them with more agency. Resources on effective communication and NVC parenting will be provided.

Our Family Coalition recognizes that stress and emotions can be running high for parents while sheltering in place amidst COVID19. We invited a skilled facilitator and committed ally, Nancy Kahn, to conduct a workshop especially designed to support the communication and connection between adult members of households who might be struggling while facing greater unknowns in tighter quarters. Nancy Kahn is excited to share space and skills for mediating and negotiating towards greater ease in relationships during this trying time.

Nancy Kahn brings a combination of more than 20 years experience in training, facilitation, coaching, mediation and consulting, locally, nationally and internationally in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) Across Differences.
