VIRTUAL: Baby & Me | 10:00AM-11:00AM
Description
This group is designed expressly to provide an opportunity for parents with infants to connect virtually, as part of our Coronavirus response.
Please register in advance to receive the secure phone and video conference access information.
We welcome parents and caregivers of infants (0-18 months) to join us for an hour to connect, share resources, and interact with their babies and others to support their psycho-social developments and parent-child bonds! This group will be peer-faciliated by Maggie Francisco.
From our facilitator, Maggie: "I was born and raised in San Francisco (the Mission!) and taught 1st grade in San Francisco Unified School District for 15 years before having my child (Ori). Now I am a full time parent and focus on combining what I’ve learned about child development with an emphasis on sensory motor development, RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers) techniques as well as simply trusting myself, to create a parenting style that shows respect for my child’s needs as an individual.
I’m looking forward to supporting your efforts toward connecting with other families with young babies, and discussing all those issues that arise that make us feel like we are the only ones to struggle with parenting. You are not alone! Please join me for casual conversation about parenting/life with a baby (or anything on your mind), reading baby-friendly favorites and singing songs!"
Every other Saturday starting in October through the end of the year: October 10th and 24th; November 7th and 21st; December 5th and 19th, 2020 • 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
